There are a ton of movies coming out this year that I’m really looking forward to seeing. Toy Story 3, Alice In Wonderland, Clash of the Titans, and that’s just a few. But the one that’s really got me pumped is the one that I know the least about: Inception, directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
For those of you who don’t know, Nolan is the man behind the highly inventive revenge thriller Memento as well as a little-known picture that came out in ‘08 called The Dark Knight. These, along with his other films, are some of the best I’ve ever seen, and all should be included in any “best of the decade” discussions.
But this one, damn. There’s nothing really to be said for it because, well, nobody connected to the film is saying anything. They want it under wraps, keeping the mystery factor cranked all the way up to 11.
They have released a couple trailers, however. In fact, a new one came out only a few days ago, and it looks incredible. Imagine the cool geography-shifting from Dark City on a more massive scale, as well as a cool conspiracy that seems to involve DiCaprio and Ellen Page’s characters. I’m not sure, but it looks so cool. Check it out and get excited along with me.
